Old Tapestry. I know nothing about this item, I found it in a house I cleaned out. It has a decent sized hole in one corner and has had several amatuer repairs over the years.
It seems odd to display an item such as this, in a home, unless it is an authentic heirloom.
As the pictures show this item has several imperfections and needs a good cleaning. I have not cleaned this item while it has been in my possession, I have little to no knowledge concern...ing antique textiles and their care.
