Here is a artificially aged Declaration of independence printed with one of the old techniques on thick rice paper. This replica was given out as a promotional gift by the John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company Boston, Mass between 1926 and 1940. It is an exact replica of the original except for its size. The printing is of the highest quality and it was artificially aged at the time of manufacturing. This is a rare promotional / advertising item by the John Hancock mutual life ins...urance company in c1926. It is framed and measures 14 1/2" by 16 3/4" including the frame and is in excellent original condition.
