DescriptionLovely hand painted flower decorated covered sugar box with grey glazed borders.Made in the 19th Century, in England.From the Murray Pollinger collection (there is a collection label to the base). Marked with the maker's hand painted coding (base photographed).There is an old stress crack to the stem of the box and a 'U' shaped hairline crack to the underside rim of the lid. Also, there is an old staple repair holding the base to the top section. Otherwise, it is ...in very good condition, with no other chips, cracks or restoration.It measures approximately 8" in height by 7½" in diameter.
