- - - WE ARE CELEBRATING 21 YEARS SELLING ON EBAY!!! - - - - -TWICE LOVED ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES Antique Sanford's Inks Stoneware Crock!
Description: For sale, is a rare antique Sanford's Inks Stoneware crock. From my research, this was made by the Western Stoneware Company. The crock jug reads, "Sanford's INKS The Dependable Line PASTES ILLEGAL TO REFILL THIS JAR FOR RESALE." This is decorated in cobalt blue. This jug is in very good condition for its age! Typically... there is chipping or flea nips. The only flaws that I found are indentation marks that occurred during the manufacturing process, and on the bottom there are two chips, but these appear to possibly be a mold flaw, as they are smooth and not rough. I see that this would have had a lid, but this piece does not have one. On the bottom it is incised with the numbers "150 52."
This would be perfect for any stoneware crock and jug lover. It can be repurposed with a dried floral arrangement for a country shabby chic farm house look!
Dimensions: 6 inch opening x 7 1/2 inch height x 7 inch base
