Vtg 1940s MIJ Porcelain RARE Arab Castle Minaret Fish Bowl Tank Aquarium Decor
This lovely little Fish Bowl decoration in white, with clear glaze, is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or breaks to the porcelain figure. It was was produced in Japan, as is indicated by the red mark of "JAPAN" on the bottom edge. It is RARE due to the fact that most of the Fish Bowl “castle” scenes were of European sites—where as this one shows an obvious Mid-Eastern or Arab To...wn Scene. This wonderful little Fish Bowl decor measures approximately 3.5" at the highest point, and 3" wide at the leaf on the minaret. Although it is white porcelain mainly, there is a dark blue glaze on the smaller roof decor and a 1930s shade of green to the leaf shape on the minaret.
