This is nice user vintage Stanley USA No. 9 1/2 adjustable mouth block plane, 6" sole with the purple japanning. The mouth adjusts for finer or coarser shavings. Weighs over 1 pound, 6 ounces, so this is a substantial tool. Despite what you might see in other listings, the 9 1/2 is a standard angle (20 degree) plane. The iron is sharp, the sole is smooth, and the tool is ready to go to work. There is some japanning wear on the top of the lever ...cap, and a tiny saw cut (?) at the back of the body (see pictures), but that is all cosmetic.
Will ship in a small flat rate box with the lever cap and iron removed.
