Original Description:
A great vintage October 1912 color advertising card for Everything In Hardware. (store location Thomas Bldg. Main Street, Somerville, N.J.) The postcard provides great advertising for the store and features a colorful home scene with a woman knitting by an open fireplace wrapped in blankets for warmth. The right portion of the card promotes the hardware's policy to provide the best quality of stoves for the most comfort vs the fireplace that heats on areas of the body. A vintage Octobe...r 1912 calendar appears in the upper left hand corner of the card. The card is copyrighted 1911 by Comoco , Chi.The card measures 3 1/2 " by 5 1/2", and has been postmarked: Somerville NJ, Oct. 1912. This card displays very nice color, detail, and design. Great advertising. Small area of scuffing on the upper left side edge of card face, age related corner/edge wear.
