Hand Carved Wooden Statue of Italian Boy, c 1930s-40s, 6 " high, well done
This delightful little boy is hiding something behind back. It is a misshapen apple or a pear but he wants it all to himself. He is 6 inches tall and base is 2 1/4 in x 2 3/4 inch. He weighs 6 ounces. The bottom is stamped in ink : "HANDCARVED in Italy." He is very well carved with lots of detail including two front teeth. Unknown wood. There is no damage. c. 1930s-40s.
