Description This offer is a used Clifton #3 bench plane in lightly usedcondition - No Reserve on Auction Bids.
The plane, made in England, measures 9 5/8 inches long, 23/16 inches wide with a 1 3/4 inch-wide cutting iron. It features a solid iron body (3 lbs 14.8 oz) with a hefty hand-forged blade, 2-piece chip breaker, adjustable frog, and hardwood handles. All parts are original to the plane.The plane was in...frequently used but shows some wear from useand storage. The plane is largely rust free except for a small spot on the chip breaker and blade. The blade is sharp but could use a good honing.
