This is a set of vintage T.H. Witherby chisels in fine condition.These are all Witherby chisels of various profiles from timber framing to a smaller gouge. All of the chisels show some wear and a bit of over cleaning but they are of superior quality and will make a great set for use.There is a large timber framing corner chisel measuring 7/8" on both edges of the corner. The two larger chisels are 1 3/4" & 1 1/2" bevel edge socket chisels, a nice pair.&nb...sp; There are also bevel edge socket chisels from 1" to 3/8" and a couple of firmer chisels. The last is a 3/8" outcannel gouge. All are socketed with one having some deformation at the socket in need of a little attention. T. H. Witherby chisels are highly sought after and have a great reputation for very high quality. These will need sharpening and a little clean up if you want them shiny.
