The Superior Works: St Johnsbury Tool Co. Sliding Bevel & Square
Made by Patrick Leach of www.supertool.com fame.  Solid bronze body with a cocobolo inlay. Unique indexing mechanism sets bevel to 90 degrees to use as a square.  Locking mechanism is superb.  These were priced at approximately $270 new. Appears to be in essentially unused condition, save for a few very minor scratches that in all probability were inflicted while the tool sat on a shelf on in... a tool drawer.  Its quite a piece of engineering: good luck bidding!
