Fellas, 1st. I love Morgan vises and have 2 go-to Morgan Chicago's. I put this 50, 60, 70 year old Morgan 150 next to a similar 500S Wilton so you can size them up. They are basically the same but different. The Bullet if it were cleaned up would go for easy for $5 bills, where as the Morgan will give you the same reliable service for considerably less cash. What It boils down to is what will hold ...your work and function well over the years. This Morgan has new jaws easily more available then Wilton who has had them on back order, many running since August 2018. Remember, jaws and other replacement parts are still available out of Milwaukee Tool, who owns Morgan.
This Morgan came in nice shape, the jaws didn't need replacing as you can see but I bought them anyways and you will get the old one with the original screws, its how I roll. If you can live with the noticeable user marks and drill bit mark on the top of the channel bar the rest is all uphill. Operation is quick and firm. It swivels 360 and locks down with 2 new handles from a C2 bullet, 5/8-11 compared to the 1/2-13 on the 5" bullet. There are no cracks, welds, chips, hacksaw JB Weld, Bondo or filler anywhere on this vise, Tried and tested for close to 100 years, a Morgan vise exposed channel is about as nice as it comes.
