After decades of neglect and disrepair, the Truman Reconstruction of the White House got under way in 1949, ending in 1952. For sale is a brick from the part of the White House renovation that took place in 1950 in the midst of the 3-year reconstruction. The brick measures 3"x 8"x 2-1/2" and is sealed to a wooden block with a plaque that states "Original White House Material Removed in 1950."
