James Burt marked 250 pound Crosby 12 inch face steam gauge . The iron body with brass bezel protects a brass face with intact glass. Four mounting holes are drilled in the body indicate use as a maritime, shop or stationary engine most likely on the Michigan Upper Peninsula.

Utilizing the EBay shipping calculator has ceased. Any items oversized for flat rate shipping will utilize shipping estimates established by the USPS shipping calculator. If there are any additional shipping charges added, that is for my time and headaches. If the item for sale must be palletized and handled by a freight forwarder or other means of Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipping, the buyer pays for the LTL freight plus packaging. If you prefer to use UPS for such shipping, I can bring the item to a UPS store for the store to package and ship if it is prepaid or on your account at the shipper. I must be notified in advance.Any items not sold within 90 days are destroyed or donated depending upon my mood and problems created by having to deal with the item. If the items are destroyed, generally it will be by fire, smelter or mechanically scrapped (excavator mounted shear, PRI-MAX PR4400 shredder, etc.) in the region where the material is located. The final destruction will be captured on video and a hyperlink to the video server will be added to auctions in that event for posterity and my amusement. Parts of the collection belonging to ALASKALOCO are included in the sales I conduct.
