All are in excellent condition except one has a very small hairline crack, as pictured in the fourth photo.
Hand painted C.T. Tielsch Altwasser porcelain oyster plates have a iiridescent glaze on a polychrome decoration over smoky brown background and golden highlights.
The factory founded by Carl Tielsch in 1845 rapidly became known for producing porcelains of the highest ...quality and were compared to the Berlin factories and Meissen. Measures approximately 9.25 inches diameter. Carries the underglaze mark in blue for Carl Tielsch porcelains which were produced between the years 1875 – 1909.
