i have for sale a large stewart handy worker vice /anvil combo . manufactured by the stewart handy worker chicago flexible shaft co. This item is in pretty good shape for aprox. 100 years old . Item does still turn and operate as it should but is no way near perfect . It is missing crank handle on wheel to tighten and i do think original jaw plates have ben removed also directly under jaws would have had stoper tabs wich have ben broken or removed at some point in its working his...tory the only outher thing it is missing name id tag. I tied to take pictures of the defects i have noted on . there are no cracks or welds that i have seen and the four mounting holes are not busted as most outhers i have seen in my research . This vice is very rare and hard to find in this condition (better than most i have seen in research i have done) how ever I am no expert . I sell my items in the as is barn find condition in which I get them .please look at all pictures what you see is what you are bidding on and feel free to ask any questions as i will do my best to answer all . buyer is to pay shipping at end of sale with option to pick up at my adress I will take item to UPS shipping and buyer can make arangements to pay shipping over phone with ups(I have done this before with larger heavy items ) this seems to work best keeping in mind item weighs about 50 pounds . thank you for looking at my e bay item and happy bidding
