Matchlessantiques is offering collectors and smiths this Rare Curved Adjustable Forming stake (stake plate not included). I say rare because I've never seen one before and can't find it online either. This one is a must have for any collector who likes very unusual items. I am not sure exactly what type of smith this forming stake was made for. Maybe a tinsmith, coppersmith or blacksmith for light work. If you have a suggestion or know who would have used this stake, I'll post your in...fo. in the listing at the bottom. The arms can be adjusted to create the size of the radius you desire. The outer band of metal is quite heavy so it's not real easy to adjust. The tapered mounting post fits a standard stake holder or stake plate. It is in excellent condition with some pitting. Please take a close look at the pictures.
