This finely embroidered silk collar, with clear glass beads suspending textile panels, is likely late Qing Period, and until now protected by being tacked to a backing and kept in a frame under glass. To better arrange shipping I am removing it harmlessly from its frame in order to ship more inexpensively and safely. This piece measures approx. 18" D at the widest. There are no losses, no missing glass beads, no tears, no threads with loose ends, no fading, no stains ...and no odors. The workmanship is excellent, extremely fine embroidery and applique.
