Here for auction is an Antique Chinese Cloisonné jar or censer with later bronze or brass mounts, unmarked.
Decorated with the eight Buddhist symbols,
Measures approximately 14cm in diameter x 23.5cm in height. Weighs 1945g unpacked.
Later mounts possibly added to a damaged piece which was highly prized. There remains one dent with losses to the cloisonné, further losses around the rim as pictured and another two small losses noted. Expected pitting.
