ANTIQUE ITALIAN WW II ARMY YOUTH DIRK
DAGGER KNIFE ~ RARE SCABBARD ~ RUBY EYES
THE MOUNTS ARE OF BRASS WITH GOLD FINISH, THE EYES OF THE EAGLE POMMEL ARE RUBY STONES, THE GRIP IS OF LACQUERED WOOD WITH GOLD GILT MULTIPLE WIRE STRINGS. THE BLADE IS SINGLE EDGED AT LOWER PART, BECOMES DOUBLE EDGED AROUND 1/3 FROM THE TIP, VERY STRONG BLADE. THE SCABBARD IS LEATHER AND HAS BEAUTIFUL LARGE SILVERED METAL ITALIAN INSIGNIA. CONDITION IS GOOD WITH AGE WEA...R AND PATINA, BLADE AND HILT ARE TIGHT. LIKELY WW II PERIOD.
