A clean and usable round plane from this unlisted planemaker. Likely American made, there are several other Phelps in the planemaking trade during the 19th Century, perhaps a relation. The iron is 1/2" wide and works a 1" diameter circle. The body is solid. Iron and wedge look good.<...br>
