I am starting to list a large collection of bayonets, daggers, swords, and much more military items. Please keep checking my sales for some really vintage, cool, and some rare items. Japanese WWII NCO sword. Late war Army type 95 NCO sword with matching serial numbers scabbard and blade. The blade is 27.5" long and the overall length of sword is 37.75". The blade has no rust or age spots but has a few tiny nicks in the edge. The handle is made entirely of one piece of wood that is cros...s-hatched and secured with 2 screws and threaded washers. This was the 3rd economy version of the 95 and was produced from 1944 until the war's end. Most of all the paint finish temains on the un-dented scabbard. Tied to the carrier ring is a surrender cloth tag this officer signed stating his name and rank when he laid down this weapon. The soldier who brought this back from the war stated that is what he thought was written on this cloth and he never took it off. This was bought from the soldier who broght it home.
