Offered here is a RARE vintage BELL & HOWELL Apple II plus computer. I powered it up and it boots fine. Apparently these were issued for schools. This one has the optional BACKPACK with several inputs and outputs not included in a regular Apple II Plus. Keyboard seems to work fine. This one has a switch installed that is hooked to the disk controller card. Not sure of its function. The card may not work as I could not access a floppy with it.... When I replaced it with a normal card, it worked fine. Perhaps I do not know how to use the card included. You will be getting the original card. There are also a couple of extra cards installed. One is a ROM card; the other appears to be a printer interface card but I lack the knowledge to test them. No further testing done. Other than the video out on the backpack, the backpack is otherwise untested. Computer does exhibit a few minor scrapes and rubs but displays very well. Please check photos. Nice used example. Nice addition to any Apple or computer collection. No rust. Sold "as is" "Parts or Repair" due to age of electronics and no returns. I will not warranty machines this old but if it arrives physically damaged, it will be fully insured. After all it is over 40 years old. Buyer pays shipping. Thanks for looking..
