Selling an antique stoneware bird / wren house. It is 9 inches long , 5 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches wide . There is a crows foot hairline in bottom of shoe in the ball of foot area. There are few chips and other very old damage. This came from Max Powell of Bushnell, Illinois, I bought it from him in the early 1980’s . He got it from old lady in Macomb, Ill. , whose father worked at one of the Macomb potteries. Max guessed the piece is a Bardolph piece or at least the top tree bark ...piece is , the shoe could also be Bardolph. The top is fastened to the shoe with heavy gauge wire that hooks through two applied stoneware loops on the inside of the shoe. Email me if you have any questions. Payment is expected within 2 days after the auction ends. Thank you
