This Herman Miller Clock was designed by Gilbert Rohde between 1930-1933...The date can be determined because Gilbert Rohde was hired by Herman Miller in the summer of 1930, and this clock appeared in the 1933 Herman Miller Clock catalog..The clock has the Very Early Herman Miller Clock Company Brass tag on the bottom and later models did not have that tag...Herman Miler only made the cases at that time.. The spin-start mechanisms were made for the Herman Miller Clock Co, by Hammond Cl...ock Co. and is so marked on the face...They were marketed by Herman Miller Clock Co., and therefore Herman Miller Clock Co. used the brass tags...About 1933 the name on the face changed to the Herman Miller Clock Co.; so that style brass tag was no longer used...The Herman Miller Clock Company's name changed to Howard Miller Clock Company in 1937...The condition of the clock is Very Good to Excellent considering it's age...It is running smoothly without noise and keeps accurate time...It has an alarm feature, which I never used...I did move the alarm setter around to the current hour and it had a nice buzzing sound, but I did not check it for further accuracy...As for any electrical item this age, I always sell the item AS-IS without returns or exchanges...Measurements for the clock are 7 1/2 Inches Width X 5 1/2 Inches Height X 2 Inches Depth Shipping will be Economy to the Lower 48 States Only !!!! NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING !!!!
