Three-digit manufacture code “blc” indicates the binoculars are war time Carl Zeiss production. A maker of top quality binoculars.
The lenses are in excellent condition, with no damage or foggy view. Crystal clear view. The exterior body is in excellent condition too. The right lens has a horizontal reticule pattern with vertical bars used to calculate distance. The vertical bars are... slightly rotated about 30 degrees. The blue cross by "blc" indicates it was cold weather proofed. The focus adjustment functions very well. No issue at all. The neck strap is intact and free of damage. The leather case has nice waffenamt "WaA" marking and year marking. The case body is in excellent condition too, with no damage or repair.
This set was acquired directly from the family of a veteran in the 103rd infantry division, a division full of history.
A very nice untouched example. No reserve price! International shipping $45. I ship the next business day.
Thanks and good luck!
