This is a nice complete Russian Imperial samovar made of brass. It comes with the crown, cap and chimney extension that were with it when I acquired it. I don't know if they're original to this piece. Likewise with the spigot. That being said, they all fit perfectly on the samovar, they work and look proper to my untrained eye. The cap hardware does match the knobs on the urn. There are eight stamps. Seven on the body, one on the lid. I have no clue how to interpret these and so I've t...ried to provide clear photos for you to do so yourself. Enjoy!
The samovar measures 14½" with the cap on. The vent cap and door in the base are in good working order. There seems to be minimal scale on the inside and the urn holds water. I found no noticeable dents or scratches anywhere on the surface. I found no evidence of repairs, either. There are some blemishes to the patina in a few spots. Also, one of the handles is very tight and doesn't have much play in it. I did not try to fix or force it. Overall I'd say that this piece is in excellent condition.
