We are working our way through a several hundred piece tiki mug collection of a dear friend who passed away. This is the culmination of a couple decades worth of collecting. Most came from bars he had visited in his travels, tiki temples of yore, or are limited edition runs by current designers/makers. We are nearing the end of the collection. This mug is in the form of a large tiki head with a nose shaped like an upside down cross, crescent shaped eyes, and a wide grinning mouth lined with squarish teeth. It’s finished in a dark brown glaze over a lighter brown. The backside says “The Shameful Tiki Room II Anniversary.” Underneath it says “Eekum Bookum JM142” and is numbered 09. I don’t know how small this run was but I can’t find any sales history so it seems to be pretty rare.
Dimensions: 4” W x 8” HCapacity: 30 fl. Oz
Item appears to be without issues. Any flaws appear to be part of the glazing and manufacturing processes. Please look at all pics carefully and let us know if you have any questions.
