I have ...been hoarding and nice old Antique and Vintage sterling silver flatware for the last 35 years, only saving what I thought was cool, unusual, or just pretty. It's now time to start selling it all, so nicer pieces first.
This is a super nice, very collectible old Antique bon bon or nut spoon from a maker I could not find. it is an Animal hallmark, kike a deer, so I thought Wallae, but it is different. A standing up Animal. There is a number 50, and pat applied for but no date.
Either way, this is a super nice bon bon spoon, with an openwork slotted bowl. It measures 4 & 1/2" is stamped Sterling and has no mono and none removed.
There is no damage or bends. It is solid 925, sterling silver, and just needs a polishing.
No mono and none removed.
