Vintage BSA Boy Scouts of America Official Canteen w/Original Boy Scouts Cover

...The old timer I bought this from was an avid horse collector and also had horses on his ranch. He said he used this canteen many times while hunting Elk on horseback back in the day.
The condition is pretty nice. The canteen inside does have some denting to it on the edges and a couple of other areas and does show a little age in spots. The canvas cover is not ripped or torn. A couple of light stains on the front and back. The print of the BSA logo on the front still stands out nicely.
Measures roughly 8" in diameter.
The cap screws on and off perfectly.
The button snaps to secure the canteen inside the cover both have the BSA logo on them so they are original to this.
The neck strap is there and attached perfectly.
Collectible and/or usable.
