Georgian Spice Cupboard Of very small proportions. Consists of 7 small drawers with the tiniest of hand made dovetails. Made from flame mahogany and dates in my opinion circa 1780. Lovely colour and patination , very small only 11.5 inches high, 7.5 inches wide, 5 inches deep, would look great in a period setting .At some point the hinges have been replaced and two replacement veneers have been inserted on the door, this has been done quite expertly and you have to look close to see t...hem. (See photographs). I cannot be certain but I suspect one foot is a replacement but if it has again been done expertly.A rare item and a wonderful of example of 18th century cabinet making.Please look at my other period items I have listed.
