FRESH FROM A LOCALESTATE IS THIS ANTIQUE MUSEUM QUALITY 2 PRONGED FOLDING FORK WITH SILVER DECORATIONS. The reason I say museum is because the only place I could find a similar piece is a museum-most were from the 16th and 17th century. Back then you traveled with your own knife and fork. This one is made of iron with wooden sides and little silver inlay and buttons. The butt has a silver decoration that looks like a face. The total length is about 7" and folded it is 3 7/8"...--it still has a tight snap to it. The condition is excellent with only some of the silver inlay missing. It looks so much better in person-very hard item to photograph and make it look good. A fantastic piece to add to any collection. Pleaseemail with questions. Thanks and good luck.
