Antique Globe Wernicke lawyer's oak barrister bookcase 1 section / stack with door with glass.It is quarter sawn oak. It has the original label, Globe Wernicke Universal 9 Inch Unit Pattern 809 Grade 299.This is an 11 1/4" tall section or stack which fits a 9" book inside, so it is called the Universal 9 Inch Unit. Outside measurements: 34 3/8" x 11 1/2" deep at the bottom trim piece, x 11 1/4" tall, for a 9" book inside.It weighs 17 lbs. 7 oz. unboxed. In very good vintage antiq...ue condition; ready to use; it is old and antique and has some signs of age and wear as can be expected, but all in all very good.It has original finish, original glass (wavy or bubbly) and original brass knob. The door opens and closes as it should.Non smoking home. Selling because wrong size for the bookcases i have. Make sure this fits before bidding. No return sold as is.
