Antique Globe Wernicke lawyer's oak barrister bookcase 1 section / stack with door with glass.It is quarter sawn oak.
It has the original label, Globe Wernicke Universal 9 Inch Unit Pattern 809 Grade 299.
This is an 11 1/4" tall section or stack which fits a 9" book inside, so it is called the Universal 9 Inch Unit.
Outside measurements: 34 3/8" x 11 1/2" deep at the bottom trim piece, x 11 1/4" tall for a 9" book inside.
It weighs 16 lbs. unboxed.
In ...very good vintage antique condition; ready to use; it is old and antique and has some signs of age and wear as can be expected, but all in all very good. It has original finish, original glass (wavy or bubbly) and original brass knob. The door opens and closes as it should.
