Original Description:
ANTIQUE ONE GALLON REDWARE JAR/CROCKThis circa 1870 slightly ovoid redware crock holds one gallon and measures 10-3/4" tall with a top diameter of 5-1/2" and 5" at the bottom. It features an unusual tall shape, a 1'' deep rolled rim that is slightly extended, and an incised decoration 2" below the top rim.
The crock is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. It does show light roughness on the lower rim.
This is a very nice old redware croc...k in an unusual form.NOTE: All stoneware is double boxed for safe delivery.THANKS FOR VISITING LANE'S COUNTRY LARK!
