Antique Peter & Reed? Arts Crafts Ohio Yellowware Pottery Bowl Pot Signed Taylor
Size: 7.25"w×2.5"t. Opening on top 5" in diameter.
Purchased at an antique auction. Estimated age esrly 1900's. Exact maker unknown...similar to Peters & Reed low bowl. High gloss dark teal with tints of black glaze. Yellow clay was used so i am thinking item came from the Ohio Zanesville area. Dark teal crackle like glaze. Base has the name Taylor written and 6 ...or 9 stamped on base. No cracks or breaks. Has manufacturing crazing which may of been intentional. Item is old and has some scuffs and marks from age and use. Please see pictures for overall condition and feel free to ask questions.
