1975 Chris Craft Tournament Fisherman 30
Item History & Price
Listed again as previous winning bidder never paid or responded.
Classic 1975 Chris Craft Tournament Fisherman 30 ready for a new owner to continue the refit. This is hull #5 of the Ray Hunt designed deep-V offshore hull to compete against the Bertram 31. The Chris Craft TF30 is wider, has more flare, and is a much dryer and roomier boat. Often referred to as the "Dirty Bertie" after Bertram sued Chris Craft to stop production based on design infringements.
Boat has the original ...Chris Craft 350Q engines and Paragon transmissions. Engines and transmissions are currently pickled for long term storage. Both engines and transmissions were rebuilt before they were pickled. They had about 600 hours on them since the rebuild. The engines have not been started in over ten years. The head was previously pulled off the starboard engine to verify the condition of the engines when we acquired the boat. The head was then put back on and refilled with Marvel Mystery Oil and 30 weight oil to keep the engine pickled.
Job relocation has forced the sale of this refit that was started two years ago. Included with the sale is a new mahogany door, spare parts, and a fairly complete history of repairs made prior to storage. The boat is moored in the water with no leaks. It is a solid and seaworthy vessel that deserves completion. The hard top alone is worth the starting price of this listing.
Boat was hauled last summer, touched up, and painted with new bottom paint.
