Antique Georgian or Victorian Silver Thread Embroidery on Silk Panel.
From a Recent House Clearance. Unknown Origin or original use. Not sure if it's intended to be one piece which has lost pieces over the years or was meant to be cut out and put on different outfits and clothes as patterns are a bit random as pictured.
Condition: 1 piece has been cut out as pictured and it finishes in the middle of another on the edge. Edges of the fabric are worn and the is age related surface ...wear as pictured. Due to age and storage it does smell old. Minor small stains.
Not sure of exact age feels very old.
Approx 156 cm by 52 cm excluding the piece cut out.
