Estate doll G 136: Original Vintage Doll...NOT A REPRODUCTION
This doll is marked on the back of her head with a lot of information. Makers are Heuback & Koppelsdorf...250.15/0...Germany. The head is porcelain bisque on a composition 5 pc body. Body is in no need of any repair in good condition as originally made. Head has no hair line cracks, only a chip on the wig inside edge. Wig is a very thin piece of mohair spread out over a skull cap wi...th no sewn seams on it. Glass brown eyes open and shut. None of the eye lid paint is missing. She has 4 porcelain teeth with an open month. No scratches in blush of face cheeks. She has a stocky flat footed little body. There are holes in compo where the original clothes had been stapled on. Someone made her some cute new ones. Great size for those who like them small for a cabinet and wonderful collector's markings. She would have been made in the late 1800's to early 1900's era.
