Superb gothic early oak carved panel. Dating c.1700's. Excellent attention to detail on this early oak panel carving. To the centre in raised relief is a grotesque lion man. The carving has a lion's mane and ears with the face being that of a man with a moustache. Most unusual carved head.Measures some 11" x 16.75".Condition is excellent and age commensurate.
