Here’s a Nice Antique circa 1910 Stickley Brothers Mission Oak Bookcase #4772. The Bookcase is in Good Condition with some normal wear commensurate with the age; please see the pictures which illustrate some scratches, scuffs, and rubs; also some wear to the finish along the top (picture 8). I think going over it with colored wax would eliminate most of that. There is one broken pane of glass. The shelves are original but they have been professionally modified to be... stationary rather than adjustable (picture 3). They could be converted back if you so desired. The back of the case only is painted and the story on that (told to me by the daughter of the former owner) is that the bookcase was used in a sunroom at one time and the back was partially visible. So they painted the back green to match the color of the room. Later it was moved to an office and they painted over the green with a light brown. NO OTHER PART OF THE BOOKCASE WAS EVER PAINTED BESIDES THE BACK. As you can see, there is the Quaint Furniture Stickley Brothers tag on the back. The dimensions are approximately 52” tall, 48” wide and 12” deep. A very nice looking Stickley bookcase. I can deliver about two hours from 07702 for a fee, email for a quote, pickup is fine as well.
