ANTIQUE HALF GALLON COBALT DECORATED STONEWARE CROCKThis is a nice half gallon salt glazed circa 1860-1880 short sided storage crock. It measures 7-3/4" tall with a diameter of 7-1/2" at the top and bottom. It features:a nice variable color salt glaze on the exteriora dark Albany style glaze on the interiora 3/4'' extended and mostly flat rimincised decoration 1-1/2" below the rimcobalt slip decorated on o...ne sideThe crock is in good condition just showing a tight separation at the rim and 2-1/2" down the side.A terrific example of a short sided decorated piece of mid to late19th century pottery!Note: All stoneware is double boxed for safe shipment!THANKS FOR VISITING LANE'S COUNTRY LARK!
