Original Civil War Discharge and photos of Phillip McPelley with the 12th West Virginia Infantry. The discharge paper includes several signatures and is not torn, has 2 folds from storage, is not brittle. Also included is the reunion photo which also has the names written on the bottom, a tin type photo of Mr. McPelley later in life and another photo found with the items.
He was a Marshall County WV. Resident and occupation listed as Farmer. The discharge on the back is dated ...16th Day Of June 1865.
