SHIPPING- I typically dont discount shipping. I usually increase your services. If you win several auctions I might, but heres my thoughts.
My charge for shipping is low. So i typically using your shipping fees to upgrade.

- under $20, media mail
-over $20, first class
-over ...$60, or multiple auction, priority padded
--over $150 , or 20 books, priority box
-slabs i typically charge $8 per, which is about half of cost , i ship medium, flat rate box, up to 2x books. RARELY- on slabs less than $30, ill ship in slab mailer
PRICING
- Auctions i usually try to start auctions at 75% of what i think the item is worth or what i need to get out of item
- buy it now - typically this an item that will have specific buyer or group. It may be right at, below, or above current markets value. However its typically what i want or need out of item to part with it.
CONDITION -
Depending on Age, the conditions will vary
-typically books 2000 n newer will be like from shelf, the older more likely read carefully, remember books are handled by 4-6 people before they hit the shelf
Pre 2000-1990 are what you would assume a 20 year old book would be if handled and read carefully n stored
Pre 90s expect wear n reading
- refer to pics, always
*if something is way off , good or bad I "try" to point out

I try to make unique listings, it may be as simple as adding a $2-5 book, autograph, or multiple related books
Thats why i start auctions higher to make sure on a slow week, i dont sell a $50 book for $20. You might find a $50 for $40, though.
