Images one and two show details of one of my stock specimen plant in a California greenhouse. Theplant for sale is a well-established division shown in the fourth and fifth images, freshly transplanted in a bark + perlite + charcoal + treefern mix in a 5”/13 cm plasticpot. Currently expanding a new leaf. This is a verywell-established, healthy, artificially propagated division that has recentlybeen transplanted to a larger pot, NOT a recent import that are so prone tocrashing and burn...ing a few weeks after acquisition. One of the CrownJewels of any tropical aroid collection, the northwest Andean endemic Anthuriumrugulosum has long had a reputation for being a bit finicky in tropicalcultivation and doing poorly in areas like southern Florida. Most accessionsappear to originate from over 6, 500’/2, 000 m and can be very slow growing. I amoffering a well-established division of a seed grown plant originating from thelower end of its elevational range, that has proven exceptionally easy to grow.Note the size of the parent stock shown in the photos, which are eightyears-old from seed and has been divided twice already. Does require good waterquality to thrive. All plants offered are greenhouse grown on benches in the San FranciscoBay Area, California.Shipping: Plants will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail withtracking number for physical addresses within three working days of receipt ofpayment, weather permitting. 72-hour heat packs are available for an additionalUSD 6.00 eachWherever possible, plants will beshipped in plastic pots.
