You are bidding on a used Onkyo A800 premium dynamic headphone. These are no longer in production and are very difficult to come by as well as very expensive! The new ones here in Japan sell for 800 to 900 dollars!
I am the second owner it was purchased from a headphone shop here in Japan. I have owned it for 2 months. Physically its in pretty good shape, earpads have some dust/lint and wear on them. They are velour pads so they attract dust and lint like crazy! There are some minor... scuffs on the earcups but otherwise its in pretty good shape. I currently have a modmic magnet attached, but I will remove it if you dont want it. I can leave it on as well if you want to use a modmic!
These are my favorite headphones of all time soundwise. They sound so natural and have a great weighty body to the bass that sounds awesome without overwhelming everything else. Unfortunately they are quite heavy and I suffer from back and neck problems, as a result I cant wear them for more than a hour before I start having pain. I really dont want to sell them but I just cant use them for long at all so I am letting them go. Those of you out there with healthy necks will enjoy them I am sure!
These will be shipped from Japan via Japan Post EMS service. To most of the world this takes 3-5 buisiness days plus customs times. If you buy them around the holidays it may take longer, but I will try to get them shipped out as fast as possible! They would certainly make a great Christmas present to yourself :)
