Extremely Rare! Harris Electrotone Record Player/AM Radio! 30’s. This record player is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Not much is known about the brand but this was definitely for the elite of the 1930’s as far as I know, they only made a few hundred of these! This one does not work. I put a new cable on it and powered it on. The amplification sounds good to me but I can’t get anything from the tonearm needle to come through the speaker. The motor is also a little funny. I... did a light greasing on it and it span perfectly and quietly at 78 rpm but after I came back to it a few days later, it went back to what it was doing before which was jerking. It sounds like it’s hitting up against something but I’m not sure. I would like to pass this project onto someone who knows more about these hybrid machines. This is the only one to show up on ebay in recent years so get it while you can! If you have any questions please feel free to ask!
