A very nicely made brooch, crafted from solid silve...r with a goldwash (worn gilding). Being finished with rope design around the outer rim whichis complete the frame was originally gold finished which has worn away over theyears revealing the silver. The centre has a Winged Lion Of Venice. The micro mosaic look in perfectcondition, plus the colours are still rich and vibrant. The details are:-Condition:-The mosaic is very good for its age, no chips or cracks. Theframe has the expected signs of wear plus a few creases and a crack C Clasp itin working order but the other end has an old lead solder.
