Boxed and packed away for the past 50+ years, this Altec Multicell 603 speaker is in excellent cosmetic condition. It's marked on the cone, 20409, and the label is still intact: Altec, Lansing Corp, Multicell Dia-Cone, Model 603, Impedance 10 ohms, serial Number 2515.
The f...ront baffle and the cone are very clean with no chips, holes or breaks, and the metal trim is good.
I have measured the impedance with my multi-meter, and it shows 5.6 ohms--although the speaker is marked for 10 ohms. Hooked up to my stereo, this sounds good on voice and music, although it was not tested with any audio test gear. This is sold AS IS--NO RETURN.
It can be picked up in Northern NJ, near Paterson & Paramus, or this will be carefully packed, and double boxed, for shipment.
For overseas shipment, this will go via Priority Express, which is insured and logged in as it travels, because of recent theft of mailed items, and failure of overseas buyers to cooperate with subsequent insurance claims. Condition of Item: This is sold AS IS.
