A beautiful pair of vintage linen hand embroidered tray cloths or place setting mats with pink roses, anemones and forget-me-nots.Crisp, strong, white linen cloths with a shaped and hand embroidered edge.Gorgeous hand embroidery is displayed on these two pieces ~ neat, detailed, raised stitches, all worked in glorious coloured threads, to create a wonderful floral display surrounding the inner border.So pretty.In freshly laundered, crisp, starched condition and each measures 23” x 14...”There is a very, very feint watermark on one cloth, barely noticeable but mentioned for accuracy.
